    My garden let's me shoot from 5 - 20 metres, with the recurve I spent a week moving back from 5 to 20 metres, but of course I'm shooting plastic vanes just now so the kick to the right is pretty big, but I have some wooden feather fletched arrows coming next week with a cheapish Mongolian style bow I much prefer shooting off shelf on the recurve with a bit of moleskin on it, and I look down the arrow as I'm drawing but focus on target and disregard arrow once drawn Aiming at a 50cm straw target and I've only missed it once, yesterday it shot past target and hit the shed, passed straight through the back and out the front landing on my path, fortunately I lock the garden up so no one can get in Hopefully not happen once I get those feather arrows going On sights I do have 4 options I can attach, from just a single pin with no housing, 3 pin sight, recurve sight with the small circle on it, and I have a torch/laser pointer I can attach via a picatinny mount I bought for a bow, but I really don't like any of them, could see the torch/laser being useful for a hunter, but in daylight in the back garden it's not really required, though have been tempted to put it on the compound given how accurate it is using pin sight, place your dot, replace it with an arrow 😀 and if accurate could eliminate the need for peep

    Note: A fan will run in both directions, but many have a bearing only in the correct load side. So decide on airflow my the mounting direction of the fan itself. I think push or pull is totally irrelevant. Airflow is airflow.

    Whoever told you that the tuner steals power from the amp has no idea what they're talking about. The tuner can't "steal" power from the amplifier. Its impossible. The tuner is in the preamp, and the preamp is completely isolated from the power amp. The amp takes the incoming signal from the preamp, and there's nothing in that connection that could steel power from the amp.

    • @KevinMillard68

    I got some nice stuff, can't disagree with that, couldn't help looking at all the other stuff u didn't show, I need a little room like that, but i got a shed because my other hobby is astrophotography which can't be done from the house :( My bows, being uk we don't get same choices u guys get, so brands you will unlikely have heard of, but there is an EK Archery 'rex' compound bow in camo skull, 15-55lb draw weight, 20 - 29" draw length with easy adjust modules, just unscrew a screw and spin the module to the hole with the number you require, quite small at 3.2lbs weight And a recurve from amazon, goes by many different brand names depending where you live, but here in UK the brand is Keshes and its the 30lb version cos I have a frozen shoulder I don't want to agitate The other 2 are a cheap recurve from amazon, like £15 cheap, was just to try the recurve to see if I liked it, is a terrible bow, the strings it's way off centre to the right of the riser, only upside is it has shelf on either side of the riser, so can be used to try thumb shooting off the right hand side And lastly a light weight practise compound bow, 35lb draw weight, again was to just try it out to see if archery might be my thing, the mrs took it when I bought the better one Also got a couple of xbows, 1 the small pistol type and only 90lb, and a larger compound one, think its 185lb draw weight, but its too powerful for my garden, the arrows ate bending when they hit target as there's not much time for it to slow down

    Honestly, you're right, this is very frustrating. They should really fix the SFX. I have a 255-YPT Yamaha keyboard, and the sound effects were played by all notes. There is the main note, (C5 in my case) that has the original sound effect, and if you use the lower keys, they have the low audio sound effect, and if you used the higher keys, they have the high audio sound effect. So yes, I can see how this can be a problem, and YAMAHA should fix it.

    Nice informative video that was, I feel like I understand all those different rests I have a little better now I'm so sad lol, I have pretty much every rest you showed, but only have 4 bows The whisker biscuit with the gaps in is what's on the mrs compound bow and she's did the same thing u suggest, turning the nock so the diff coloured vane faces up I used the string from the kit you were looking at for d rings, the little rubber counterweight goes through a hole in the strap for a brace right at the handle, though I don't use either What I'm taking from this is, get yourself some feather arrows :) and for time being I think I'm going to use the shelf, I just used some adhesive moleskin (the stuff you use for blisters) on my shelf, with a little piece of kebab skewer under it on the shelf and riser to minimise contact area between arrow and bow, might upgrade to something u showed though There is 1 rest you looked at, has 2 prongs that the arrow sits on, near end of video you liked the look of, I also have 1 of those, and it's actually really adjustable, especially sideways, I think it could get really close to the centre of bow depending on how it's mounted, when I used it on a compound again I turned the nock so the odd coloured vane faced downwards this time letting the arrow pass through unimpeded so may shoot plastic vanes, but regardless I'm getting some feathers If you ever feel like making a video on it at some point in the future, I'd really like to wrap my head around the plunger, I know what it's supposed to do, but no one ever explains the adjustments properly, as in if X happens your spring is too loose and if Y happens your spring is too tight kind of thing, they just say adjust till arrow flies straight, not in any rush to know, just if u were looking for future content maybe you could squeeze it in somewhere Cheers for the explanation of all the different rests though, I really do have most of them, and some I just couldn't wrap my head around, especially the differemt plastic ones that come with cheaper bows

    Been doing a bit of garden archery lately, had never tried archery before and went with a compound bow which I found really easy to make tight groups and hitting soda cans at length of the garden So I bought a recurve bow as I found the compound a bit powerful for length of my garden, even with the limbs loosened, I can still hit a 50cm target at 25 yards shooting of the shelf of the recurve, but my groups aren't so good, like 2 will go in the same hole then others scattered around into small groups of 2 So having watched your video I'm pretty sure it's the arrows, think they are about 500 grain spine but have plastic fletches, just wanted to ask what arrow spine you would recommend for a 30lb recurve? Is 500 in the right kind of area? As I'm going to buy some feather fletched arrows, so I want to make sure I'm buying the correct ones as they cost a bit more And lastly, would you actually recommend shooting from the shelf? Or would shooting of a rest be a better option? As I do have a plunger thing and a little stick on rest that goes with it, but I felt the plunger was maybe complicating things for me and found shooting of the shelf to be more simple in respect of no mechanical adjustments to be made

    • @KevinMillard68
      @KevinMillard68 6 днів тому

      500 spine is good for 30 lbs any lighter then that with 30 lbs will suck , feathers are a must for recurves as the plastic vanes tend to not be so forgiving and knock you off all time, shooting off the shelf is fine my centre point aspen is setup for shelf and 3 fingers under which works great , my pse nighthawk has the plastic rest and works great with split finger it's a knocing point placement thing one from the other.,. the plungers are more for use with a competition adjustable rest not for use at all. with the plastic stock on ones..ill do a video explaining the different rests and how they work this will give you the best idea for your setup you want to do.. give me about an hour ill have something uploaded today just be sure to sub my channel and click on notifications so you get my new uploads

    When I finally got an electric guitar and played in a band, I used to run one of these for the longest time without any other effects. These days I consider reverb, chorus and delay to all be crucial components to my style. I think if I had of been using any other pedal during that time I would have explored earlier with other modulation effects. But this pedals sound just hit the nail on the head to my inexperienced ears. I basically hit a nice arpeggiated open chord and thought: 'This is the 80's sound right here'. Unfortunately I never played one of these with reverb added on, so I'm gonna go buy one (£20 here in Britain) and crank the reverb to 11. I'm so excited, it's like I'll be shaking hands with an old friend 😂

    I just bought this guitar from Sweetwater got a great deal. Can’t wait till Friday when it arrives. This is my first Jackson guitar and after watching some UA-cam videos, I know I won’t be disappointed. Sweetwater is the only guitar distributor I buy from. 😊

    My question might be stupid, but I don't understand why daisy chain 2 mixers instead of connecting them separately, one to each audio interface input (if you have a 2 input interface) ?

    • @KevinMillard68
      @KevinMillard68 12 днів тому

      because to get stereo you need left and right from each channel into the interface so you need to tie them like i did so al channels can get mixed properly otherwise you'll have one mixer all left and one all right

      @@KevinMillard68thanks for your answer, I connected all stereo keyboards on both mixers, left output on one and right on the other

      lol well my days of using them is well over now i can not longer deal with them and even with wifi assit on it wont work in my studio and i live in the country as well but any apple phone never a problem so i did go back to my apple smartphone,,. i do like the style of flips and the size but other wise way to frustrating these days i think to we have all been way over spoiled as well with smartphones which also makes it really hard to go back to flips as well

    I happened to buy a bad UGREEN device. It did not cook my MacBook properly. No smoke, no show, just a very hot USB hub and TouchBar not turning on + disconnecting SSD. All due to all ports filled + 4K HDMI 24/7

      stuff happens for sure, im kinda done with alot of these hubs i have a 7 port usb A hub now that has each port its only switch and a power charger seperat port the whole thing is also powered with its in power supply so not taking power from my mac at all. and then i have my mac ports i can fill everything up and just turn on what i need then turn off when iam dont and never had a problem ever since
